I reset my island after the first week. So this island was started one week after the launch of ACNH.
Warning: mention of real life animal death in the following paragraph.
Cool fact! I picked up New Horizons on launch. That day also happened to be the day my beloved childhood dog was euthanised. I couldn't be there. Also I had work that day. They offered me the day off but I couldn't be with her either way, and hell if I wanted to be alone with my thoughts!
Cool game though. Really wish they didn't give the tools lifespans. Actually I really don't like crafting in general, but the customization is really nice.
